Do you do pre-wedding and engagement photography?
Yes, we do on request and as per our packages.

If so what are the costs thereof?
Cost to it, if any, will depend on package selection, location and specific requirements.

Can this be arranged at any time before the wedding?
Yes, absolutely.

Who will be the photographers at the wedding?
Mostly Heather and I will conduct weddings. However, we consist of three teams (As a norm 2 x Photographers per Team) who at any time can be utilized depending on circumstances. Latest 2 weeks prior to your wedding, or earlier should you request, will you be introduced to your final 2 photographers.

Have they received any formal classroom training?
Yes, in terms of courses at various institutions and more so at actual functions.

How long have you been a wedding photographer and how many weddings have you done?
Personally I have been photographing Weddings since 1991. In 2001 I combined the romance of a Wedding with African wild life. In 2005 Celeste joined The Album and subsequent the additional 4 photographers. For 2010 alone we managed 50 Weddings throughout South Africa and in total we have completed at least 500 functions.

Have you done events for a 100 people?
Yes, in fact our typical Wedding head count would range between 20 and 150. Corporate functions range in access of 300 people.

What are your criteria for choosing what you would photograph at a wedding?
Because we cover the entire event our criteria would be to tell the true and full story as seen through our lenses. Should you only whish coverage of selected and specific events, our criteria will change depending on requirements and available time. In essence we focus on the couple, their emotions, the proceedings, the decor and surroundings while practicing Anticipation, Diligence, and Patience. Alternatively we are open to suggestions or requests.

How do you know how may pictures to take?

What makes your photographs better or different that anybody else's?
Their personality and ability to interact with the Wedding couple and all guests for that matter. Their creativeness, passion and ability to relate to all emotions present on the day.

What time do you arrive to setup your equipment?
We are always minimum 90 minutes prior to your Wedding time ready on site to start pre-photos.

Hours of service?
We allocate approximately 8 to 9 hours per Wedding with the option to be extended. We only start indicating departure once all the Reception formalities are completed and we are certain all material has been covered.

Do you bring backup equipment with you?
Yes, being two photographers and having three teams is our back-up action plan.

How many photographers will cover the event?
One to Two, depending on package selection.

Do you provide a written contract and guarantee?
Yes, we do offer an official written contract however our initial presentation and quotation is deemed legal and will be honoured by The Album. As for a guarantee, I can guarantee you the best placed photographs at your choice of venue, the best timing for light, the best service, the very best photo packages, the most beautiful photos and a most memorable occasion provided you allow us as photographers the partnership between us which will make all this possible.

What are your policies regarding negatives?
All our images are taken in digital format to which you will receive from The Album 3 copies of all the presentable images on disc for reprints thereafter at your own leisure. The images promised to you are of high resolution which will not pixalise when printing.

What are your policies regarding delivery time?
Delivery times are package dependant.

How much time in advance are bookings made?
The sooner the better to assure availability and allow proper planning.

How much deposit is required?
40% which is refundable should any one of us cancel.

When is the balance of the fees due?
A second 40% two weeks prior to the day of the event and the balanced 20% with product delivery. -
If applicable what are the overtime charges?
Not Applicable.

Are there any additional charges not mentioned?
None, only if you should require more services or products.

What are the refunds cancellation terms?
Cancellations are accommodated until two months prior.
In the event of a cancellation, all expenses occurred to date will be deducted from refundable deposit.
